In the last years, coil processing has reached a high level of automation and precision thanks to the introduction of the new “Sapiens” straightening system. First, it was applied only to the most powerful machines of the “series 16” but actually, the “Sapiens” system allows better straightening in an easy and stable way.
This state-of-the-art straightening system applied also to smaller stirrup benders gives Schnell the opportunity to produce a top-performance machine also for small and medium diameters. “Formula Sapiens 14”, is, in fact, a bidirectional automatic stirrup bender to produce stirrups and cut bars from coils up to Ø 14 mm or double Ø 10 mm.
“Formula Sapiens 14” can produce a 200x200 mm stirrup in about two seconds, which means about 3.600 stirrups per hour, with double coil so it is a machine addressed to those who look for maximum technology, great efficiency and high production rates.
This new stirrup bender of the series “Sapiens” features many new devices such as a wider stainless steel front panel, a stirrup colleting flap and two servomotors on the feeding unit which make it possible to work at a maximum speed of 144 m/min.
Moreover, “Formula Sapiens 14” is equipped with some mechanical, control and interface with the operator innovations which belong to “Sapiens” technology. In particular:
_ due to its special straightening system, the machine can detect low-quality material;
_ final adjustments are controlled electronically by joy-stick. The straightening process of each wire is completely independent from the other and totally computer controlled. The machine is easy to use also for operators with little experience.
_ Thanks to “Schnell KS 104” control system you have access to three levels of memorization of straightening parameters.
